Meet the founder

Hello!
Welcome to my Oasis! My name is TaShea Anderson and I am the herbalist and founder behind Ahav Oasis, LLC and the nonprofit organization, Ahav Apothecary, Inc. I have always been drawn to wellness and health, but I never felt quite aligned with traditional healthcare and medicine. In recent years I became more mindful and conscientious of what I put into my body and how I care for myself and my daughter from the inside out. That is how I stepped into the world of holistic health and discovered my passion for herbalism. I am now currently working towards a degree in Integrative Health Sciences, specializing in herbal medicine.
If I could have a superpower it would be the power to heal. What started as simply wanting to learn how I can take a more holistic approach in the wellness of myself and my family, turned into a passionate desire to help others reach their holistic wellness goals. I believe in the power of nature to nurture and heal, and everyone deserves to nurture their well-being holistically regardless of their financial situation. Our loving Creator, Jehovah God, gave us everything we need to be happy and healthy. Plant medicine grows free all around us! I believe in the words found at Matthew 10:8 where Jesus himself said, "You received free, give free." That is how the nonprofit organization, Ahav Apothecary, Inc. began.
By means of my nonprofit organization it is my goal to provide herbal medicine to the local community free of charge! And by means of Ahav Oasis my goal is to offer herbal products and holistic services at a price EVERYONE can afford. That is why my unique pricing approach is donation style. I am empowering you to nurture your well-being holistically by only accepting what you can give from the heart as a token of your appreciation. I don't believe in traditional "sales." The work I do is supported by generous donations as I strive to embody the true meaning of giving.
What makes me different is that I take the "whole tree" approach. I'm not symptom focused. Symptoms are like the branches of a tree. That is just one part of a much bigger whole. I focus, not only on the "branches" of a person, but also the leaves, the trunk, the roots. The whole. That is what I call the "whole-istic" approach. I don't want to just care for your branches. I want to nurture your roots. Yes, there are MANY amazing herbalists. But there is only ONE me. Different by default.
"We should love, not in word or with the tongue, but in deed and truth." (1 John 3:18)
That is the true meaning of "Ahav." ♡
